Built in 1916 by Theodmir Defago, the chalet is an alpine farm in summer and an altitude restaurant in winter.
The farm
The same family runs the farm since its construction. Today it is Theodmir’s great-grandson, Patrice Defago, who farms the pastures in summer and makes award-winning raclette cheese and seracs,
The restaurant
In 1993, Theodmir’s grandson, Jean-bernard and his wife Yolande decided to embark on a new adventure and set up an altitude restaurant for the winter season, it was the birth of Chez Yoyo and Jibi, operated today by Eddy and Patrice, their children.
